  • I have a rolleiflex that has been scratching my negatives. The professional lab I use in California advised me that the camera was scratching my negatives but that most camera shops could easily fix it. I called Tempe camera ahead of time and spoke with them about the issues and they said they could most likely fix it so I brought the camera in. Joe, the repair technician, strongly insisted that the scratches were from the lab I was using and that the camera was completely fine. Knowing this wasn't the case we took a roll of film shot on the rollei to Tempe camera's lab next door to be developed and scanned. Unsurprisingly the negatives had the same scratches on them. The gentleman in the lab was much more informed and talked us through which part of the rolleiflex to clean, hopefully that will fix the scratching. This situation along with multiple condescending and rude interactions with employees in the sales and repair departments at Tempe camera have left me feeling quite disappointed.
