| - Life can often be hectic, busy, fraught with many challenges, and in many cases - noisy.
My days are very long, and the issues seem endless. And the phone constantly rings with questions, appointments, and conference calls.
When I am around central phoenix; especially during the middle of a busy day. I try to take time just to stop by and enjoy the serenity.
I just drop on by, pick up a bag or two of fish food, and just sit and feed the fishes. The cell phone is off, and the noise is minimized. I say minimized because of late, they have been putting a high rise nearby and the noise from the construction site can be bothersome.
This is my quiet place away from home, if even of a few minutes.
I originally only visited this place during the Matsuri Festival (Japanese Cultural Celebration Event). However, because of how hectic my schedule has been of late, the tranquility of this place is my panacea.
I would highly recommend a visit here. Just keep in mind that they are closed for the summer, and won't open until the fall. My other alternative is Tempe Beach Park by the Boat Ramp/Dock as the other side can often be noisy and bothersome with all the passers-by.
