| - First of all, I have to say I don't pay to go here, it's free thanks to a deal with Morneau Shepell across the street. I like this gym a lot though! It's got 2 levels, so it never feels crowded. The dumbbells go well past 100 pounds, so lots of room to improve ;) I like the upstairs cardio area as well, it's got a lot of different machines and an open space to do body weight exercises. There's also a boxing room, and multiple studios for classes. They also sell protein shakes which your choice of protein flavour, milk, and ingredients.
I've gone to their spin class, and their "body sculpt" class, and I'm not going to talk about the latter as all I remember is pain :P but the spin class is great! My favourite memory is the Halloween spin class where the instructor got up to do the thriller dance, and all I was thinking was "why don't we just learn this for the whole hour!?"
My only negative would be it doesn't seem well maintained. There has been a broken mirror, broken fountain and broken stairclimber machine for as long as I can remember. Also the dumbbells don't often get put back properly which drives my ocd a bit crazy!
