We finally showed up at a good time with hardly any line. The day was Sunday, December 17 at about 5:15 pm. We haven't been for about 4 years because of the line.
The downside of no lines means that some of the less popular items sit and get cold. Of course the popular items like the crab is still fresh because of the heaping plates sitting on most of the tables.
I usually eat a few crab legs but I lean more towards their Asian choices. Their sushi is good and rolled nice and tight. They have Japanese Oshinko pickles. I can't even get that at most Japanese restaurants. Their dim sum choices are delicious. They are usually hot and in the traditional steam baskets. As for the American choices, the fried chicken and pizza are pretty good too.
Save room for dessert because not only is their dessert pretty, it's all delicious. Well.. maybe except for their cookies. They were hard and cold. The donuts on the other hand were fresh and yummy. The macarons and the macaroons were all delicious. I also had a white chocolate mousse that was outstanding.
Prices are high and if you don't fill up on crab, you can definitely can not feel like you're getting your money's worth. My husband doesn't eat any crab or shrimp. He mostly eats the carne asada Tacos. Those are some expensive tacos.
Our seating for 2 were very close to our neighbors on both sides. Definitely can feel like a pig with people sitting so close. Well, I guess we are all in the same pig boat.
