  • Dined at Guiseppes Saturday April 30. Very crowded. I ordered eggplant parmigiana, which arrived only lukewarm. Cheese on top was coagulated and gummy. The eggplant was drowned in breadcrumbs. In fact, the eggplant and the breadcrumbs had become one soggy entity. Could not even find the eggplant. Seemed it was sitting on a shelf in the kitchen waiting for some unsuspecting diner to order it. It was NOT freshly made, that's for sure. My husband ordered spaghetti putanesca with angel hair pasta. Arrived with fettucine pasta and only three olives. The other two friends with us ordered seafood dishes with garlic and butter sauce and they loved their meals. We did not say anything because we did not want to put a damper on the evening. Perhaps the place loses quality control when it is crowded. Service was excellent and the owner is very friendly.
