| - EDIT: I was rudely told by the real Cece that she did not originally do my nails, but Christina did, even though I was told that day that Cece did my nails. Therefore, Christina did my nails and not Cece. Hopefully that does not sound confusing, but still does not change the number of stars.
----
I was referred by two of my friends with one of them being a long time customer, and I would always love the quality of her nails. Not to mention, the number of positive reviews - so why not. It was my first time getting my nails done with them, and will be the very last!
As you can see in my pic, the RIGHT column is my "inspired" look, while the LEFT column is the actual outcome. I booked my appt this past Monday, and they got me in at 12pm. My tech was Cece, and I told her I wanted a gel application (no acrylic) with a design. I showed her the pic of what I wanted, she asked a few techs in her native tongue about the pic, and then tells me she couldn't do it because the design is on acrylic nails only. I obviously knew that, but I told her I wanted a "similar" design with glitter and stones. Basically I'm telling her to be creative to achieve a different, but similar look. And yes, I've said this to Cece twice or three times, and even reminded her about the glitter! Obviously, and in my pic, she only gave me an aqua blue foil that looked like easter eggs! It looked horrible! Right when she applied the top coat, I asked her about the glitter, she said, "oh no, I'm done, I can't do anymore with this on." Although she did try to apply glitter, it was just an abomination of easter eggs on my nails!
I was super dissatisfied so after I left and paid $60 (no tip), I called and spoke to a man named, Nite or Mite (rhymed with night). I explained the story, and asked he asked me what I wanted - I just wanted the abomination off my nails and a re-design! He booked me in at 5pm later that day with his "top designers" aka Wynni.
So I come back at 5pm, checked in at the front desk with the receptionists already talking about my story, then saw Wynni. I briefly explained to her what happened, showed her the original pic, and she then tells me, "well that design is not what we do here for you." Then preceded on telling me to go on Instagram to pick out a design from there. Really ... ??
I changed the design with something else, not my favorite design, but it's "okay" and I settled. No woman should have to settle, but I did because I wanted out of that place, and found out this last design cost $50. I don't see the difference, and Wynni did a little bit more work than Cece, but whatever.
I'm never going back! Polished lacks communication, customer service, and creativity! Just a horrible experience!
