  • Overall, MadFactory offers a great experience. The salon is smallish, but clean and bright. The receptionist is super friendly, and I'm always offered fancy coffee when I go in. Nobody acts like they're too cool for the clients, which can happen at other salons. They use Bumble & Bumble products, which I LOVE, and offer a complimentary hand massage while you get your hair cut, which is a nice touch. I have had my hair cut by several staff members, and all of them are pretty good. You will get a competent, stylish hair cut if you're looking for something mainstream. To be completely honest, I have gone in asking for cuts that are a little trendier/edgier, and they have not been able to deliver. But I always leave looking good. If you want a great cut you will get it here, but if you want a very specific, mod cut it may be safer to head downtown. I've had really positive experiences here with colour and cut, and I will definitely go back! If you haven't been here before, my current fave is Stephanie! She's really friendly and easy going, and she will listen to you and work with you until you are happy with you hair. She's great!
