Took my car in for warranty work and was told that they would need to keep my car for 2-3 days and they offered to give me a loaner vehicle which was great. I also asked for a general inspection and to have my gear shift looked at because it was sticking. When I checked in they didn't have my name on the list and my service advisor was not available. They still took the car, but I was unsure we would have a loaner car or if they would be able to perform not only the warranty work, but fix my stuck gear shift. They desk staff was very friendly and after some time searching for my information my service advisor showed up and confirmed that the work was scheduled to be done. The work on the car was completed in 2 days time and I was able to pick up my car around 5:45 on the second day. Again, everyone was very friendly. I know it may seem petty, but when I picked up the car it was not washed. All the other Chevy dealers that I have taken the car to for simple oil changes had the car washed. When I asked why they didn't wash the car I was told "we don't do that here". The warranty work was completed, but after driving the car it was clear that the gear shift issue was not addressed in addition the next day I received a notice from On-star that the air in all my tires was low, which seems like something that should have been picked up on an inspection. So now after being without my vehicle for 2 days I need to return to have the gear shift looked at and have air placed in all the tires. Minor frustrations I know, but for my busy life highly annoying. We choose to use this new Chevy location because our usual one is 45 minutes from the house, we would like to continue to come here, but if we have to return multiple times for work that should have been completed in one visit it may be better to just drive the 45 minutes to get reliable service.
