  • This is an UPDATED review from my most recent experience with AFW when I purchased a desk & hutch on 11/04/17 in Gilbert. Previously I felt I didn't have a great experience (see below) back in April. However my most recent visit was completely different. I received great customer service from shopping for the furniture I wanted, to setting up the delivery date/time, to receiving my purchased items from the delivery service. This most recent visit will definitely make me consider AFW for future purchases as the prices are very competitive and less expensive that most furniture stores while quality is not compromised. 2 thumbs up AFW. I was very disappointed in the lack of service received at this location. I was in the market for a home entertainment center so I ventured to this store location in Gilbert on Power Road. A couple of friends had suggested I check this place out, so I went. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an employee who provided me with a flyer and info on the current sales and promotions. I indicated to her I was in the market for a home entertainment center at which time she directed to me to the section of the store where the entertainment centers were located, & indicates one of their "happy" representatives would assist me. As I was browsing through out the store, I noticed SEVERAL employees standing around yet not one approached, greeted or offered any assistance of any kind. I found this to be quite odd as it appeared they were not busy by the lack of customers in the store at that time. I stayed there about 30 minutes looking at the various products and finally with no offer of assistance I decided to take my business elsewhere. I left this location and went to Ashley Homestore in Phoenix where customers are treated better and in a professional manner. I made my big purchase there as was highly satisfied not only with the product but the quality of customer service. So If you're looking for furniture and want to be ignored then this location and store is perfect for you. If you want professional and attentive customer service I highly suggest trying a different furniture vendor.
