  • I can say now I've stayed at better places in Las Vegas; Paris is not one of them, unfortunately. I think we had an okay experience overall as parking is free, then check in and check out were very easy as well. The other things we were looking forward to though like the room, the pool, and so on, were a disappointment. The location is very close to lots of awesome shopping, no more than a 15 minute walk to places like The Forum Shops and the Bellagio. There are plenty of dining options within the hotel and I regret not taking very much advantage of that. This supposed resort fee often seems alright for what it is intended to cover, but it such a joke at the Paris (32.48 a night) as it covers wifi for up to two devices. Any more and there is a $13.99/day charge, per device. If you do not opt for that, then good luck getting service anywhere in the hotel. It was frustrating! Also, I expected the pool area to be a nice place to lay out and relax a bit. Don't get me wrong, the area is beautiful with a huge pool and amazing views of the Strip, Eiffel Tower included. What I wasn't expecting is EDM blasting poolside. It was borderline aggravating, it just didn't seem appropriate for the crowd that stays at the Paris. Did you take a look around yet? Paris is not the Encore. I understand I could have made the best of it, but it wasn't pleasant. The room was clean, but the beds were uncomfortable. Central air worked just fine, but walls were paper thin. I always enjoy Las Vegas and this is a pretty hotel outside and in, but the rooms fell short with it's dated armoir, shelving, and bathroom accents. It made me really wonder how this is a four star property on most hotel sites. If you want to be close to the Strip, this is a great choice of hotel. Other than that, I see no reason to stay again, as there are other hotels, more cared for and accomodating than this.
