| - The room was clean and spacious but that is where my good feelings for this place ended.
The first morning I got up and showered for a day on the exhibit hall floor for a convention I attended. Hot water to the shower stopped abruptly two minutes in, after soaping my body. I had to take a cold shower to rinse off the soap. I attributed it to everyone taking a shower and draining the water heaters so I didn't complain to the front desk.
Next day, same thing, no hot water, shower or sink after a minute or two. I called the front desk and complained. A technician came and told me that the water diverter in the shower was bad. I said it wasn't the diverter as both shower and sink had the same issue. It is clearly a pump/delivery issue. He fixed the diverter anyway.
Third morning, still no hot water. I had to take a NAVY shower, wet myself in cold water, shut off water, soap, rinse in cold water and get out.
Checking out on that morning I complained again. Paying $180.00/night and not having the ability to shower was unacceptable and I stated this fact to the person at the desk, Sierra. Sierra asked if I were a Starwood member, I'm not, and she said, "Too bad, if you were I could give you extra points for the inconvenience." Since I was not a member, nothing was done, no consideration was given. Clearly this place has NO interest in satisfying their customers.
The hot tub also didn't work so there was no bathing in the hot tub either, lol.
My advice to any traveler that enjoys a shower at sometime during their stay should avoid this place at all costs otherwise you'll resemble Jerry Seinfeld in the episode where he and Kramer purchase Low-Flow shower heads and can't rinse the shampoo from their hair and it looks flat all day!! Plus, you smell.
