  • These guys border on unethical (if not being actually unethical). I was looking for a used Optima or Fusion. Folger had a 2013 Optima that was interesting and was listed at $10,300. I took a test drive and liked the car. When I asked about the documentation fees, they said $699, which is reasonable. What I didn't realize is that they had a $899 mandatory "safety fee". (As part of the service they register the car with the police). I tried to decline the service/offering but was told that would put the car under their cost. So in other words, they listed the car at an artificially low price to sucker you to come to their site. Once you get their they wack you with another unique $899 fee (I haven't found another location in Charlotte with this fee) that they should have included into the price. I drove to a different dealership and purchased a different car without problem. There is no way I would enter this dealership again. I thought the bait and switch days of car sales were gone. Not at Folger, the bait and switch is still alive and well
