I took my youngest son here today. There was no wait so they took him in right away. They offered a movie and his choice of seating which was very sweet. Everything started out good but quickly got weird. His stylist, Tammy, was kind of strange. She pretty much had him in a headlock to get him to keep his head straight. She wasn't hurting him or anything and it was kind of comical really. She kept saying if he didn't want a bad haircut he needs to be still. I mean, he's four, he couldn't care less about his hair lol. I laughed because it was just funny watching her try to keep him still. She looked right at me and said "it's not funny mom. You laughing is just making him do it more". He wasn't doing anything! She was just so frazzled and over-animated with every movement of his head. I don't think this is the right place for her honestly. She was nice and sweet but she could not handle my relatively mellow four year old child who really just wanted to look down at his toys. Finally the price. A basic cut with no bells and whistles is $17.50. Not outrageous but kinda pricey when I consider the last place I took him to was about $12. His haircut wasn't even straight. One ear has about 1/2 inch more hair taken off than the other. I didn't point it out to her because I didn't want him ending up with a mohawk while she tried to fix it all the while freaking out that he could not sit with his head perfectly still.
