Went in today for a donation. My veins are top notch literally bulging through my skin. The first girl missed my vein and pinched a nerve. It was a VERY sharp pain that went down my forearm to my pinky. It still hurts. They switched arms and instead of having a veteran stick me again they put someone new. She totally missed. My blood cauaculated and the flow was non existent. ....... For over 30 minutes. After repeated employees came to me there was no choice but to stop. I list 231 milliliters of blood that could not be put back into me and was given a full donation. My only regret is that I was not given a veteran after the initial failure. This is my body, my blood. I respect your facility respect my body. Now I have two swollen veins and have to ice them down for doing what I believe is a service to the community.
