Do you like Rock and/or Roll? If you do, this is a must stop for you. Especially if you're in or near Cleveland. Plenty of memorabilia and history inside of the building. I spent hours wandering around here. Covers rock and roll from the music that influenced early rock to the present day.
Some of the memorabilia present is amazing. There are original, handwritten lyrics and musical scores for a lot of pivotal rock songs like Highway to Hell and Holy Diver.
There's also exhibits dedicated to Les Paul and the history of his iconic guitar. Also a lot of guitars, drums, basses, etc. that were used by the rock musicians featured in the museum. The best part, every exhibit is clearly marked so you know exactly what you are looking at.
The only thing that would make this place perfect would be the ability to take pictures. You are not allowed to take pictures of the exhibits, which the museum clear explains is at the request of some of the artists and other people who have donated the materials for the exhibits.
All in all, outstanding. Definitely worth the visit.
