My friend and I have been here a few times but it's our most recent visit that truly inspired me to write a review. I know most of us look only at the tacos and ignore everything else on the menu. Big mistake!! My friend decided to order the al pastor quesa while I decided to stick to tacos. Their vegetarian taco section caught my eye and I ordered the cauliflower al pastor. I also ordered their potato and chorizo taco which I absolutely love.
Their extensive salsa bar is always a delight. Although, most of their sauces tend to skew spicy. It works for me, so no complaints there. Our food arrived and the chorizo taco was phenomenal, as I expected. But the real winner that evening was the quesa. Bless the lord! This is one of the best things I have ever tasted at a Mexican restaurant. The meat was incredibly flavorful with an opulence of cheese (again, not complaining). The crust itself was beautifully flaky and crisp. I have had dreams about this quesa after that evening. If you ever visit this restaurant, consider skipping the tacos (which are actually pretty great) and order the quesa. You will not regret it. I feel I should quickly mention the cauliflower "al pastor". This was one the saddest things of the evening. Huge chunks of barely cooked cauliflower thrown on a taco with some sauce. Meh! The quesa, however, outdid all my expectations. So I'm still giving this 5 stars. I will absolutely return!
