| - For years I have dealt with acid reflux and digestive problems. I have had multiple endoscopies done and I have tried multiple prescription drugs provided by GI doctors. Nothing was working. I had a constant sore throat from the reflux, nausea, and heartburn; not to mention, the side effects from the prescription drugs. When I started developing hemorrhoids, I was at the end of my rope, at which point a family friend referred me to AcuHealth.
At first I was reserved because I am extremely phobic of needles, and honestly I was done with any kind of practitioner. After a week of being really sick, I finally gave in and went to visit Robert.
Right away I felt comfortable and in experienced hands. For once, I actually had someone listen to my pain to get to the root of the problem, and not just provide a bandaid for healing. After taking notes and going through my history, Robert was detailed in teaching me the background and what truly goes on in the digestive system. No one has even taken the time to explain the importance of the digestion system working properly. Even during the acupuncture process, I knew I was being cared for and felt very safe.
Even upon leaving an appointment, Robert gave me an important book to read about digestion, emailed me recipes for a digestive healing diet, and provided top-shelf supplements to begin the healing process. No practitioner has ever provided resources for me to learn and take control of the issues. If a supplement didn't work, or a new health issue arose, Robert would take the time to research other options and follow up with me to make sure it was working. During one visit, he even read and researched all the ingredients in the supplement with me to know what I was taking, and make sure it was the right fit for my ailments.
I have recently moved to Japan and have not been a client in over a year. However, I had some questions regarding a new supplement I found and emailed Robert for advise, not sure if I would get a response. Right away, I got a response with even more suggestions for healing!! I could never image I would find a place that is determined to help me heal for life and not just in the moment. Even living where acupuncture is highly evolved, AcuHealth is the best acupuncture I have ever had. They have taught me to take matters of my health into my own hands and heal naturally while being patient. I cannot wait to go visit back home and stop by already!!
