| - Based on the reviews I'm seeing on this location, I no longer feel bad about writing this review. I try to avoid this location like the plague as the woman who works there intentionally tries to make my life miserable. I have gone to the extent of copying waybills letter for letter, number for number, description for description JUST so she can't condescendingly tell me that I don't have enough information for customs. REALLY?????? I went in this morning hoping that she wasn't there but no...... same condescending lecture about how I don't have enough information for customs to approve this shipment. I asked her, "how is this possible if I copied word for word from my past way bill?" After a few minutes of going back and forth, I told her to give me the package back and that I would take it to the Scottsdale Rd. location because the process my overseas shipments in a matter of minutes. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She proceeded to call her buddy Claudia at the Scottsdale (north of Bell) location to give her a heads up on me. How do I know this? I know because the minute I put the package down, she started in on me on how I needed more information such as quantity, description and value before she could process it. Uh.... had she looked before sizing me up, she would have seen that information clearly written out. I obliged, told her that information was already on there and made her happy by adding the word "sterling." Okay lady, are you happy now? I've never had to do that on my last 20 shipments but okay. IT GETS WORSE!!!!!!!!!! She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to verify the zip code somehow. Uh..... I have shipped to this same address several times now and have never had to verify before. "Sorry, unless you can verify this zip code, I can't process your order." REALLY????? How about you verify the zip code since I KNOW it is correct. NOPE, I had to leave, she couldn't process my package. I then called fedex customer support (which were lovely to deal with) and asked them to verify the zip code. "Yes ma'am, that is a valid zip code," customer service replied. So...... I drove back 10 minutes with the customer service person on the line with me. I went back in and Claudia proceeded to put coils in binders and told me she would be with me shortly. Shortly? Binding? Ok... I waited. I told her it was a valid zip, she tried again and said no. "Here, you can see for yourself" she says. "Uh, Claudia, you are putting in China, this shipment is to Taiwan." Her response (argumentative) "Taiwan is in the Republic of China." Customer service rep tells me to tell her the Country code and voila, its magically processed. Unbelievable. Customer service rep said she should have called someone for help instead of sending me away to "verify" my incorrect (correct) zip code. No apologies, but did manage to say, "oh, I know who you are, your the lady that went to the Raintree location this morning." Apparently she doesn't realize that that statement solidifies my hunch that the two gals were talking to each other before I even visited the second location. Nice.
