  • Another service provider wanted to charge me over $300 to replace my front rotors and front brake pads. So glad I went to Mr. Brake for a 2nd opinion! They said that my front rotors and pads looked new (I had them both replaced about a year ago) and the only problem was that a small piece of the pad had melded onto the rotor. They charged me $80.00 to resurface the rotor as that is all it needed. I had them inspect the rear brakes only because they were still the original brakes and I have about 68,000 miles on the vehicle. They said that the rear brakes would need to be replaced after approx. another 3-5,000 miles but were perfectly safe to drive on now. I elected to have them replaced anyway. Total cost for all repairs came to $256.97. Still less than the first shop for front brakes only!
