  • I'll be honest. I used to be a bit skeptical of the Caracas Empanadas food cart, but after I went for the first time, I just couldn't stop going back. The first time I went, I got one of the daily special empanadas, the one with plantain, beef, rice, and beans. I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful and fresh the empanada was, as well as the price. Kudos to them!! And this was without the delicious cilantro sauce too. Once you add the sauce, it makes life so much better. Just kidding. But all joking aside, this is a cart that everyone should try for a great empanada first experience, get the sauce, and the food there is worth every penny that you pay.
