Our party of four visited on a Friday during the early evening. The parking lot was pretty cratered, so if you are driving a sports car or something low to the ground, you might want to watch out.
When we entered we were promptly greeted by a host who brought us to a table. It was rather noisy, as they had a live jazz band playing. While I am a fan, this may not be for everybody. It was busy but not packed or crowded. It's a snazzy and stylish venue. We were dressed in more business attire, where as most of the clientele show off a more bold and fashionable look.
The drink menu was extensive with a great variety of creative and original cocktails. After 10 minutes of playing the game with servers where they quickly walk past and make sure to avoid eye contact, I was able to grab a server from a neighboring table who said she would be with us, but no luck. 10 minutes later due to the lack of service and noise from the band we left.
Perhaps a lack of communication between the host and servers?
Either way, was not a good experience. Typically places that charge as much as VTR have impeccable service.
