  • Went to the ER yesterday with severe dizziness to the point of almost passing out and a headache. I have a history of blood clots. They wouldn't give me an MRI or CT to ensure I wasn't springing another clot. The nurse said they only order a MRI if you come in as an active stroke patient. I asked her "so you're telling me I have to come in as an active stroke patient to get scanned? Even though I am presenting symptoms with a history of blood clots?" At that point she said she "couldn't comprehend" what I was asking. She just told me they had done everything they could for me. Uh? No, you didn't. You didn't run a CT or MRI to ensure I'm not springing another clot. They refused and sent me home. My doc offices I have contacted today are astonished. Horrible!!!
