I love how conveniently close and packed this park always is. It brings a sense of community to the Mountain's Edge area and this is something a people's person will rave about. Something is definitely in the air as the people you approach are nice, making your time at the park that more enjoyable.
I had no idea how big this park actually is until we actually parked our car and scoped it out. There's also trails towards the back if you're in the mood to take your dog on a different path or if it's nice out to consider riding your bike. There's large fields to gather your friends to play assorted sports and basketball courts that are almost always filled (when the weather's right).
I haven't seen a park so packed since the 90s. It's nice to take a breather from our daily electronic distractions to simply enjoy the simple things in life, that's free.
