  • - called in asking if they are able to schedule a blow-out/blowdy look with very lose curls - the stylist that was selected by the salon saw the picture of what i wanted and said she can do it, but after an hour of struggling she couldn't even get the basics of that style, as she started and went about the style completely wrong. She burned my scalp several times, while blowdrying. Scratched my face with her nails a few times, and dropped her tools several times. Yet, i didn't say anything, aside from when my scalp felt on fire. After telling her that it does not look anything like what I wanted, she finally decided to ask another stylist for help. The other stylist was able to understand how to go about to achieve the look I wanted, she seemed like she knew what she was doing but it was too late. My hair was already back combed way too many times by the previous stylist and it was too late to wash it again and start over, but that would have been a very smart idea. This stylist then tried for another hour, and the end look was nothing like what I wanted, but it was not her fault as she was just trying to save the mess from the first stylist. The hair spray used made my front look sooo greesy and dirty it was complete white and they were saying that's good to go, I was so shocked. The second stylist that stepped in was very nice and understanding. The first stylist was the rudest stylist I have ever seen, she never even once apologized for the fact that she ruined my day and my hair and waster my two hours. I was at the salon from 3:00 pm to 5 pm. Ended up spending $45.00 and left the salon in tears. I insisted in talking to the manager, they said she was there, but they "could not" find the manager. The worse part after everything was that at the end when I was paying, a few of the other stylists that were by the reception desk with their comments made me feel like I was at fault, or that I was too difficult. Instead of apologizing and trying to make a customer feel better, the rest of the team that was around gave a feeling of "mean girls" atmosphere and that is the worse customer service possible. No matter what you don't make a customer feel like their at fault, especially when they were not at all. I did not ask for anything complicated, I was sooo upset from the experience and the time wasted. You would think going to a salon they would know how to do a blowdry and lose curls look, that is not anything complicated, but I am not sure what they hire their stylists based on. If she was unable to do it, despite saying very clearly at the beginning what I wanted and having a visual example, she could have said she can't so I could have went somewhere else. Beyond disappointing. never had such a horrible experience. To make a customer feel so bad on the day of her best friends wedding, is just mind blowing how they can have such people working there. ADVICE TO MANAGER: PLEASE review your stylist capabilities, as it seems some don't know how to do the basics and somehow are working as a hair stylist for such a well known brand. PLEASE teach your staff importance of customer service, no customer should feel like they are being ganged up on by the stylists and feel that the reason they are so disappointed with their final look is because they are "too difficult". Worse customer service.
