| - We stayed for the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in February. Our spacious balcony suite was spotlessly clean, and well-appointed for an extended stay. Bedroom featured flat screen tv, balcony, firm innerspring bed, and plenty of outlets for device charging.
Living room featured convertible sofa bed, small desk with task chair, flat screen TV, coffee/end tables, and wet bar with refrigerator and microwave. Dishes were available upon request.
Free hot breakfast every day from 6:00 to 10:00 was very good. Fresh eggs, sausages, waffles (already made), oatmeal bar, fruit, breakfast breads, yogurts, coffee and juice. Sunday's menu replaced waffles with biscuits and gravy and added chorizo and eggs. Staff went above and beyond to address special dietary needs. There is apparently a bar/grill in the same room during the evenings, but we did not try that.
Location was next to small Scottsdale Airport, but airplane noise was not an issue. However, it is very close to the newest high end shopping and dining, and only 5-10 minutes on city streets to get to Westworld showgrounds. This hotel is perfect for tourists, but also suitable for longer stays, such as business trips or lengthy horse shows. And knowing horse show people, availability of a free, hearty breakfast early in the morning, every morning, is a real bonus. Oh, and good coffee!
