| - haven't been to Vegas in years and our first time staying at Wynn
and sad to say, this is really an overrated hotel
the exterior design as well as the lobby floor are very nice; clean, fresh, modern, eclectic, it is a nice atmosphere and setting
the room itself is nice too, comfy sheets and bed, nice layout and design
BUT that's about it...
first, our view.. it was such a terrible view, even the fact we only returned to the room to change and sleep, it wasnt nice looking out to see the top of the connecting building..
second, the $30 charge for calls and internet? really? we didn't need or use any of it yet this "hotel fee" is mandatory..what a way to steal money
third, no breakfast/brunch upgrade...when we initially wanted to make the booking, we were offered a two night stay with two breakfast coupons; we asked for friday and saturday night, then when we asked to purchase another breakfast coupon (we were a party of three) we were told they don't do breakfast, only brunch for the weekends and we would need to pay the difference for all the passes...seriously? you won't even offer us free brunch?
and lastly, upon check in we told them not to text us when the room was ready..and what did they do? they texted us. better yet, 5 minutes after we left!!!
we wandered vegas for 4 hours in the heat before returning to them saying they contacted us.. BS! they even put a note in the booking NOT to text us!
not to return here, bad experience
