| - Staying here for 6 nights, instead of giving an overall review I will give play by play commentary
-This is a timeshare hotel, so they will try to grab you the minute you walk in. If anyone ever asks you if you've been here before, its not to help you its to get you to the sales tables. just say you are already an owner.
-Hotel shares a parking structure with a busy touristy mall. You have to fight to get close parking to the 2nd floor Hotel entrance.
-No bell carts available for self parking. have to carry your stuff through a huge parking structure. Got groceries? you are in for some tired shoulders.
-Housekeeping does not answer phone. Was on hold for 15 minutes two different times.
-Would not give my child a towel for the pool unless I was there.
- If you cant find a parking space and you instead wait for your family at the entrance, security will harass you and tell you you have to drive around
-If your key card dies, you have to wait at the check in line. There isn't an express line or a guest kiosk. I had to wait in the front desk check in line 40 minutes with 3 bags of groceries just to get a new key. Not happy about that.
-The room is very nice. $170 after tax per week night, I guess it should be.
-The air condition can't get the temparature below 72 degrees at night. I set it for 65, but can't get there, during the day it doesn't seem to stay below 75 degrees. Maybe I'm picky, but if the whole building is pre cooled to 75, then my personal room should be able to get below 70..... I like it cold.
-If you cant find parking on level 3 you have to walk to the center area of the parking structure to get the parking structure elevator to take you to level 3, then walk to the end of the building to get to the hotel. No elevators on the hotel side of the parking structure. So if the only parking space available is on level 5 on the hotel side, you have to walk halfway through the parking lot away from the hotel, take the elevator down, them walk back towards the hotel. What a bunch of nonsense!
-My housekeeper is nice and does a great job, I am tipping her daily $5. Just leave it on the counter with a thank you note.
-Hot tub in the room. The jets are super weak, no bubbles. Lots of noise, but just barely circulates the water. No fun.
Update: read their reply to my original post. I don't think Jake L of Elara quite gets the problem. I know how the parking structure works. It's a terrible set up. Parking on the 3rd floor sounds great unless it's already filled up because of mall shopper. And so if you have luggage or groceries to unload and you are by yourself you are screwed. Not even any bell carts available.
