  • Don't buy from this guy! I purchased a new - upgraded phone on the Cricket website. I was having issues trying to get my new phone registered online ~ transfer my phone number ~ and transferring my phone numbers from my old Cricket phone to my new one. So I went to this location because it's right near my home, and I'd just gotten off from work. Apparently this was not a full service store, but just an authorized dealer. Small store. But anyway, I ran in and the store owner (a man) and a young woman were both working. The young woman was assisting another customer (only 1 other customer in the store). The man came over to help me and I asked him if I could get some help and explained what I needed. He said, "no, you didn't buy your phone here." I advised him that it was a Cricket phone that I purchased online. He asked me what I paid for it, and when I told him he said "well, you could have purchased that here for the same price." I said, "okay, well, I still need help, so you can't help me?" He replied "well, not today. Maybe if you come back another day she can help you (pointing to the woman). Maybe, if we have no other customers in the store." I said "Okay, so is there another store that you can direct me to who can help?" (I'm thinking perhaps a full service store - I didn't know where one was located). He replied "No, we're all independent stores." I said, "So there are no other stores in town who can help, and you won't help me?" He just stood back and smiled. REALLY? So I just walked out. I went home and called the toll free number on the main website, and the gal assisted me over the phone and told me exactly how to transfer my phone numbers, and also gave me addresses for the three full service stores who can do exactly what I need them to do - or in case my phone breaks or whatever. I was going to buy a new case for my phone ... and this store had a nice variety of cases, but I surely won't buy from THIS store. This dealer should have known where the three corporate stores were in town and directed me to one of them. I'd just left work and ran into his store after work to see if I could get some quick help. I hadn't been home yet and my old phone wasn't a good quality smart phone and I could not connect to the internet to find a full service store at that moment. It is VERY poor customer service to refuse to help if you can ... and then to lie and tell me that there were no other stores who could help. HONESTLY? Cricket is not responsible for the poor ethics of this authorized dealer, but he'll go out of business if nobody buys from him. So if you live in North Las Vegas, avoid this store!
