I contacted my home warranty company, Old Republic, and told them my microwave wouldn't heat anything. They contacted Elite and they called me to set up an appointment. Tanner, who usually covers my area (according to the representative) was on vacation but they had someone who could come to my side of town Thursday, which didn't really work for me. Besides, I have a stove, I think I can remember how to use it.
Tanner came this morning. He called before he came so I knew he was on his way. He was very nice and professional. He replaced the diode and something else, and did it quickly and worked independently (not high maintenance at all). He cleaned up his own mess and I have nothing to complain about.
Not that I have a lot of choices about who fixes my stuff when the warranty company is paying for it, but I would definitely have them fix my microwave again if I need to.
