| - This store is still my all time favorite store. I come here over Best Buy any day! The staff is always amazing. Helpful. Knowledgeable. And go out of their way. The ONLY reason I am marking the experience 2 stars is because of the management. I price matched 2 items with Amazon. And they were very small items. An Apple Pencil Case and a Logitech Universal Remote Control. Maybe $30.00 less than what the store prices in total was.
Now mind you, Micro Center advertises that they price match Amazon at manager discretion. I could understand if I was price matching a $1,000 item for $500 or something outrageous. Also keep in mind, I have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars here as well. Between myself, and my IT company, a ton of money!!!
When the manager comes over to the employee that was helping me, I made a compliment and told him I would rather shop at Micro Center, than order off the internet at the actual Amazon website. He proceeds to get very, very rude with me and laughed. He then said, and I quote!!! "Well if you keep doing this, you're going to be shopping at Amazon." And if you're asking who this is, his name is ***BILL***.
AGAIN HIS NAME IS BILL!!!!!!!!
I told him how much money I always spend there, and he couldn't have cared less. He told me "Well that's great and all, but people like you are the reason we shutdown and can't afford to keep a store open."
Are you kidding me?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I am very unhappy, and if this wasn't my favorite store to shop at, I would never come back. He is very rude, loud, sarcastic, and I can't imagine what he treats his employees like. I am totally shocked on how rude, sarcastic, and narcissistic BILL was!!!
How unacceptable!!! I think Micro Center needs to review their management a little more in depth, and get a new manager at this location!!!
***** Let me say again though, this is my 100% favorite technology/computer/electronic store, and I will still return as a consumer. I will just make sure it isn't when that specific manager isn't there. *****
