Way better than Asian Midway. As is typical of small grocery stores, the owners sometimes express human emotions like grumpiness and exasperation, but in a genuine grandmotherly way. They're helpful and try to carry items that shoppers frequently ask after. On weekends, they have a bunch of fresh Chinese leafy vegetables. As you'd expect, a lot of staples like dried noodles and beans and rice are at a nice low price here.
They also have a sense of humor. At the check-out, you'll find a wall of shame featuring the latest shoplifters caught on camera accompanied with clever captions by the owners' son.
Nice place. I'm always happy to shop here.
