Usually I love Chipotle. The vast majority of the time the service is fast and friendly, the food is good, and the restaurant is very well kept. This store was the opposite. I went in the afternoon around 4 PM and there was only 1 person in front of me. The person behind the counter explains to him to start that he has never worked the front line before and only the grill. I understood and was in no hurry. It took 15-20 minutes for this line of 4 to finish this 1 man's relatively small order. Finally I was asked to order. I ordered my usuall but they were out of black beans and fajita vegetables. I asked how long for black beans and the man behind the counter stared at me and gave me no response. After 10 or so awkward seconds and a second inquiry with no response, I just switched to Pinto beans. Then I asked how long would it be for fajita vegetables and that I was willing to wait and was in no big rush. Usually they go ahead and tell you when you need to wait for an item from the grill but he still said nothing. He looked down at the empty bin of fajita vegetables and scraped no more than 4 small disgusting shreds of vegetable that was crammed in the corner of the bin out and put it on my bowl and pretended like that was ok. I was upset and asked how long until i could get fajita vegetables and he responded with "I dont know" and sent my food down the line to the next person. Not a single thing was cooked or prepared on the grill or anywhere while I was in the restaurant and they were out of at least 3 ingredients. By the time I was able to sit down and eat, my food was cold. The worst part was a similar poor experience had happened just a few days before but I wanted to give it another shot. They definitely were a huge disappointment and i am a major fan of Chipotle as a restaurant chain. My advice is if you live in the area, drive the extra 4 or so miiles south to the location just north of Scottsdale Rd. and Greenway pkwy. Been there 100 + times and have never once had an issue.
