  • (Lyrics - Billy Joel - River Of Dreams) At Sa Bai On The Fly I go eating with my friends From the curry with spice To the fried rice no meat I must be Yelping for something Something tasty I hope And Sa Bai On The Fly And its too good to pass Sa Bai On The Fly is a smaller and quicker version of Sa Bai in PHX. I enjoyed their original location so I had to come and check out their new spot. The place itself is definitely and pickup and delivery place, but they still had tables and chairs, but not a whole lot! I came with some friends and they ordered their fried rice with shrimp while I went for the Avocado Curry with chicken. The interesting thing about their fried rice was it came with dried cranberries and cashews which I really enjoyed. It help provided a sweet and crunchy texture. My avocado curry was different, but it worked. The creamy smoothness of the curry mixed with carrots, onions, basils, and some avocado slices atop; was a perfect balance of texture and spices! I didn't really care for the rice it was served with cause I felt it was overcooked and bit crunchy. Maybe I got the bottom of the barrel on that part. Overall, the place didn't really look at that great, but their food here does the speaking. I understand it's a pickup joint, but being served on paper plates and plastic water cups was a little too picnic-like. - Enjoy!
