| - If I could give a zero, I would. From the moment I stepped in to this hotel, I didn't like it.
They're trying too hard to have a "fancy" feel, but everything is fake, down to the plastic orchids. The girl (20-something, long straight black hair, too much makeup and fake nails) who checked us in was really bitchy. She didn't say anything offensive, it was her tone and bad attitude. I wish I'd taken down her name to report to her supervisor, but she put me in such a bad mood I could barely look at her. If you're reading this, don't work in hospitality anymore if you don't want to. I certainly never want to see or hear you again.
I prepaid because it seemed like a good deal, but upon checking in, she told me that wasn't the real price, that I had to pay an extra $20/night, plus fees on top of fees. It was the old bait and switch. I stayed 2 nights and after spending the day out on the first day, I came back to a dirty room. I called the front desk and they told me they'd send up housekeeping. I came back later that evening, the room was still dirty. Also, don't use the pull out bed, it is really uncomfortable and you'll be sleeping directly on the springs. Only a very small person will be able to sleep on the couch. I'm not even 5' tall and the couch was too short for me to sleep on. Not only that, the breakfast was terrible - chewy french toast, watery coffee and greasy sausages. I was and am still extremely disappointed.
Don't stay here.
