  • Any other day I'd say Val Vista Dental was your average dentist. They have a fantastic front office staff and dental assistants. They're are also very accommodating and responsive. HOWEVER, when the appointment was made for today to put on my permanent crown I told them that it was my 2 year olds bday party so it wasn't a good day. She said it would only take 30min and a 7:15am appointment would allow me plenty of time for the party. I agreed. I live 10miles away. Woke up at 6:20am came in on time. She took off my temporary crown, prepped me for the permanent. Even put it on then all I had to do was wait for the dentist to check it then cement it. I waited 45min!!!!!! Then finally I said I can't just sit here and wait. You said 30min and it's been a total of 1 1/2 hours!! She said she tried to call the dentist and his cell phone was off!!!!!! You've got to be kidding me. How unprofessional! How long would I have waited there before they said something or he finally decided to show up to his own practice?!?! So she took the permanent off and put back on the temporary so I could leave. What was the point of me waking up early, leaving my house with 9 out of town guest and drive 15 miles away?!?! I will definitely go to another dentist after I eventually get my permanent crown put on. The dental assistants are the BEST thing Val Vista Dental has going for them. I highly suggest going someplace else if you want a more professional dentist.
