  • My husband and I went car shopping this weekend. We found a 2010 Nissan Versa on the lot. James Wright (salesman) let us test drive it. After we drove it James had us fill out paperwork to purchase the vehicle, all the while I keep asking what is the price of the vehicle. We are not looking to buy something if we can't afford it. James told us to fill out the paperwork and he would get the price for us(but we needed to complete the paperwork first) after we did that . He went to talk to his finance people. He finally came back and said that we could buy this car for $309 a month for 72 mths. When I asked him what the price was - he informed us that it was $14,995 for a 2010 Nissan Versa with almost 47k miles on it. I told him that was outrageous and we could not afford that. He went back again to work on getting the price dropped. After 10 minutes of waiting we walked out the door. My complaint is that if you can't tell someone the price of the vehicle BEFORE you run a credit check on them , then you don't deserve our business. I will NEVER shop at any of the Earnhardt dealerships again.
