| - This service is ideal for people with a specific lifestyle only. If you live on a small budget and/or you work irregular hours, I wouldn't even bother with ordering groceries online from here.
I don't have a car and was desperate to stock my pantry, so I tried the only place that would deliver groceries to my area, which was GroceryMarket. They have a decent selection of items but only brand name items, which racks up your bill of course. I was impressed with the freshness of the veggies I ordered, so if I ever need a huge veggie order I will likely use GroceryMarket for that. It's so hard to find decent produce where I live.
I could have spent an additional $10 on a convenient time for delivery, but I chose free delivery, which I immediately regretted. It was a seven hour window where it was completely ambiguous as to when my delivery would come, and it actually ended up coming at the very last second of that window. The service was overall not impressive -- my grocery bill for a week's worth of small items cost me nearly $150, I couldn't leave my house all day in case I missed the delivery, and I wish I paid in advance because the debit machine refused to work. I will use this service again only if I am absolutely desperate, cause it was not as convenient as it should have been.
