| - One of the nicer 7-11's I've been to in Vegas so far. It's a larger store with a good selection of whatever you're looking for at 7-11. The cooked food, such as the hot dogs, pizza, wings, etc. is usually fresh and hasn't been sitting out too long, especially if you come here during the morning and afternoon hours. The Big Gulp's always taste good and the machines are stocked and with maintenance. The store is bright, it's newer, it's cleaner, and there are plenty of places to park. It's at a corner of a major intersection, so it's easy to get in and out of from most directions. It feels safer than some other locations. The police even frequent here.
The only negative? The location. There are always panhandlers (plural) outside at almost all hours of the day, and they're aggressive. Ignore them, and you'll be fine, but they're always there, and some of them can get mouthy and pushy. A lot of tourists go to this location, and they know it. Ditto with some of the customers that come in here. Often times, there is one or more rude person in there who likes to cuss a lot and make things unpleasant. They have issues with people stealing, trying to haggle, etc. The store clerks take a lot of abuse that they don't deserve. There is often a line, even with two clerks, and nobody lines up orderly, so you just have to stand where ever and hope for the best, and the way the store set up is, there isn't a lot of room to maneuver around the lines or even form a line, so when it's busy, it can be kind of a cluster.
Still, I like this 7-11, and frequent it quite a bit. The staff is nice to me and they take the time to learn their regulars and they always take good care of me.
