| - Ive always disliked going to car dealership because of the pushiness of car salesmen. But now, I can add the pushiness of servicemen also. I am not satisfied with my experience at Honda West for a number of reasons. The serviceman Joshua took a look under the hood of my car, suggesting a number of things totaling around $450. He made it seem like these things had to be done right away, or else my "car would start breaking down". As a woman knowing nothing about cars, I trusted him and agreed to one of the services in addition to the oil change which I initially came in for. After talking to my dad and another friend for other opinions I found out that the services he recommended were not necessary and his comment about my car breaking down was just a sales tactic. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. Maybe if I would've sent my dad, Josh wouldn't have bamboozled him the way he did me. Also, after my service I received 5 emails, texts, and phone calls begging for 100% satisfaction which is extremely annoying. I did not opt in to receive emails, texts, and phone calls from the service department so I do not appreciate it being added (from my file I'm assuming). Will I be coming here again, no. Will I agree to services without calling a man first, no. I would give zero stars if possible, but willing to attribute the one star for completing the service in a timely manner.
