I had concerns with my hair because I felt like it was starting to thin. I found out about doctors of hair and came in for a consultation. During the consultation, I was never able to meet with the actual doctor, and instead they only allowed me to meet with the nurse practitioner. They told me that the nurse practitioner is more experienced with the PRP treatment because he has done more of these than the actual doctor and can answer any questions.
?I had my doubts and concerns about not being able to see an actual doctor, however they represented to me that even though they can't guarantee results, they would give me three PRP treatments, followed by a year of laser light therapy and if I did not get the result I wanted, they would give me an alternative solution free of charge. At the time we discussed the options of an extra PRP treatment for free or a device to take home to use at a reduced price. Because of this promise, I agreed and paid them to start the service.
?I went through the first PRP treatment and got no results. (When I refer to treatments, I am referring a few weeks after the treatments are done for results to show). The nurse practitioner told me that it was just the first treatment and it takes time. After the second treatment, about six weeks later after the first one, I did not see any improvement either. They then told me that it would probably take until the third treatment, and reiterated their promise to find alternative solutions if the third treatment did not yield results. After the third treatment, the nurse practitioner once again told me that it takes time and that I probably just need to wait until after the laser light treatment is done before my hair improves and that I should wait for that to be done before deciding on an alternative solution.
?Throughout my laser light treatment, I expressed my concerns over and over to them regarding the lack of any improvement in my hair. Each time they just gave me the same response. "wait until after the treatment is complete and we will see what we can do for you". My final treatment was last week. My hair has still not improved. They finally gave a different answer and told me that they would schedule the vice president to speak to me. They scheduled for me to come in today at 8:30 AM to meet with him. I told them I work at 9 AM so I only have this time. I came at 8:30 AM and the vice president does not show up. I asked the staff what the problem was and they call the vice president several times unsuccessfully. The guy does not even pick up his phone. I waited there until 9 AM before I just could not wait any longer and had to go to work. They simply said, I can't do anything for you.
I leave for work, and when I finally get there, the vice president calls me on the phone and does not even apologize for missing the appointment. Instead he tells me, "you know you scheduled an appointment at a doctor's office, you should expect the doctor to arrive late" followed by a "I did not schedule you for 8:30 AM, my staff did so it's not my fault". I realized it was pointless to argue about this because he clearly did not want to admit fault for wasting my time, so I moved on to the whole point of the appointment. I told him the whole situation and he simply said, "we can't guarantee any results, your hair not improving is not a failure, you not losing more hair is already a success and we have done our job. It takes years of treatment in order for hair to improve, and the only solution I can give you is to re-evaluate your hair and provide you with another treatment option, which is going to cost more money again. It's in your contract."
They completely disregarded the previous promises they made, they make up lies in order to string you into their services, and they feel no remorse for wasting your time and money. Not even one apology for missing the appointment. They are a bunch of scam artists. You will not even see a real doctor at this place. By his own words "it will take years to improve your hair with this treatment". Their advertisement of 3 PRP treatments and one year of laser light therapy will improve your hair is a lie and the vice president just admitted it.
