| - Such a cool hotel!
Located on a great spot on the Strip, the Mirage is a wonderful oasis!
We stayed here for three days, and had an excellent time.
The hotel has a nice pool, with plenty of deck chairs and a waterfall that is a welcome bit of cooling from the Vegas heat.
The staff was nice, and brought was a bible in the middle of the night, and put up with our general shenanigans.
Currently, The Mirage has a bit of a Beatles theme, with the Beatles act headlining their Vegas show.
The hotel has plenty of dining and drinking options. They offer Cravings, their all-you-can-eat Vegas buffet, a decent place to eat. The Carnegie Deli serves heaping sandwiches, in an authentic-feeling NY atmosphere.
The place offers an expansive casino. The lowest table minimums I saw was $10, with a lot of the tables going up to $25 minimums. They do have a European style roulette table, but I think we missed that.
For such a nice hotel, you'd think that they'd splurge a bit on the toilet paper. Nope. We got single-ply stuff that was scratchy as sand paper.
I knew that the mini-bar would be expensive, but $18 for a club soda!? Yeowza.
There's a bit of shops near the rear of the hotel, but they were all pretty expensive, and didn't really carry the items I needed.
