Our dinner at Jaleo had hits and misses and all in all, it was quite mediocre.
I really enjoyed the paella that used short thin noodles instead of rice. It was very flavorful and filling. The sausage wrapped in thin potato slices and fried was disappointing - greasy and salty, but no depth to flavor at all. The smoked-cured ham was very good, especially with wine, since it was fatty. The steak was alright; nothing to write home about.
With the prices that Jaleo is charging, this is a pass unless you have a big group, then in which case, you'll have a great time, like the very loud and obnoxious table of rowdy women sitting 20ft away.
