  • Based on our experience, this is how my friends and I felt: PROS - Fun atmosphere and they encourage you come closer to the stage to photos and videos at the end - Hot guys ripping their shirts and underwears off and you can keep the shirt that's been thrown into your face as a souvenir... lol... CONS - The website clearly says "No girl, you keep your dollars!" under "Do we tip the dancers?" (see: http://www.chippendales.com/Hard-FAQs) and yet my friend was solicited right off the bat! We thought this was a bit sleazy and not right. We would've complained about it after the show but we were in a bit of a hurry so didn't say anything. - My friend felt like she didn't have a choice since we really wanted our Bride-To-Be to go on stage so she tipped the staff member. - If the website had specified more clearly, she would have been more prepared and had no issue tipping. When we went to see Thunder From Down Under for my bachelorette party last year, my friends were NEVER solicited at any point. They just pulled me up on stage out of the blue! - I did end up sending a message via http://www.chippendales.com/contact later that evening regarding the solicitation but they never replied back to me. TIPS/SUGGESTIONS - If you want your bachelorette or birthday girl to be on stage, the Chippendales staff EXPECTS YOU TO TIP. The website says you don't need to tip the dancers but it doesn't mean you don't need to tip the staff member, which we found very misleading. - If you want to get a photo with the guys on stage after, sit closer to the side of the stage near tables A, B, C... Q, R, S, etc... That way, you can be the first to line up for the photos. CHIPPENDALES OR THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER? - If you're debating between the two shows, all of us agreed TFDU was better. We thought the Aussie guys were better dancers and the show was more fun and raunchier. We also felt the dancers interacted with random girls more when they all came down the stage. - TFDU dancers seem to pick girls at random out of the blue; no tipping required. Chippendales seem to only pick girls if you or your friends have money to tip the staff member, which as mentioned above, goes against what the website says. :(
