  • I have always enjoyed being a window shopper at MarkieChar! They carry the loveliest pieces, mostly with a vintage, understated feel, that you would feel comfortable wearing everyday. I rarely buy jewelry for myself, but when Christmas came around, I decided it would be the perfect spot to purchase something for Mom. I spent a good amount of time looking over the selection, and I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were reasonable. My Mom is really a statement piece type of lady, so there were only a few items that fit that bill: one was an amazing tassel necklace that was a bit out of my price range, and the other was a beautiful scarf necklace that wrapped around the neck. I went with the scarf necklace, and to make a long story short, my Mom loved it, but when she wore it on Christmas Day for some inexplicable reason it would shorten and become uncomfortable. I felt terrible and told her I would take it back. MarkieChar generally has a "return only" policy, but when I told them the story, the owner was happy to make things right. I really appreciated her kindness, and I still think the jewelry is beautiful. Another spot worth visiting at The Market LV!
