  • Sandwich board advertising just outside the shop drove me in. It advertised their goods with pricing from the '80, so I just had to check it out, it's 2017 after all. I was gone in 60 seconds. The variety was sub par, and so were their buns. Couldn't even make them presentable. Everything seemed like it was dumped on the tray. Now if they also owned the shop down the street and around the corner, this would be ingenious marketing for "you get what you pay for". Go around the corner and splurge a little, your GI system may thank you for it later... I know I had taken a picture of the sandwich board advertisement with the unbelievable prices, but can't seem to find it now, sorry. Maybe I was subconsciously trying to wipe out all memory of the experience... To Ding Dong's defense, a steady flow of in and out foot traffic happened while I was taking the pictures. But then again I was in and out (empty handed) fairly quickly too. Try at your own risk.
