| - The NASCAR museum is absolutely amazing, interactive, and it walks visitors through not only the history of NASCAR but through the entire process of the races. Visitors are able to become apart of the pit crew where they change tires, pump gas, and mount cars while racing against the time clock. Cars are displayed and auto parts are featured to show the make up of the car. There are also history displays and interactive stations. Become an announcer and use colorful words to describe the race, race in the qualifying round, and race against others to see who is the fastest at getting the car back on the road from the pit stop. When the museum is not having event the the prices range from free for members to $25 for adults. There are senior and military discounts available and children are also priced at a reduced rate.
oh Easter, oh Easter! NASCAR puts on an amazing kid friendly Easter egg hunt. This year was the Easter Egg 400 event. After the Easter Egg 400 event, everyone was able to visit the NASCAR Museum. This event featured over 5000 Easter eggs where kids were able to grab at the sound of "'GO!' There were 4 packages to purchase for the event.
The event was held at the NASCAR hall of fame. Street parking was available along with garage parking. Depending on how long you stayed, parking ranged from $4-$20.
Not only were the kids able to hunt for eggs, the event had many other fun stations for the kids to participate at. Face painting, egg races, a magic show, hop like a bunny, become a bunny and take a picture with the Easter bunny were all options for the little ones to enjoy. Throughout the event were bunnies to grab and capture this special moment with.
This is an amazing museum if NASCAR is of your interest!
