I like simple places. The downfall of many restaurants (IMHO) is attempting to do too much. Rather than stick to what they can excel at, many owners try to extend themselves into arenas where they should not go. This strategy is usually driven by incremental revenue or to appeal to new demographics. What usually results is a culinary travesty that leaves everyone unsatisfied and ultimately another statistic in the world of failed businesses. THMMB is not that sort of place, and I suspect, that it is the sort of joint that has real staying power.
The reason: THMMB does one thing - burgers, and it does it with aplomb. I get one thing when I come here - the green chili cheese burger combo for $5.
Good burger, good price point. Nuff said.
