Dave's was the local normal supermarket we came to when I was a volunteer in Cleveland. We got some stuff from the Lakewood Marc's (yuck) and the Farmer's Market (yum) and some other places, but Dave's was where we got the regular stuff.
When I lived in Ohio City, it was just starting to gentrify (yuck). But I think they brought this place in because the local neighborhood didn't have a real supermarket. It's a good supermarket as far as supermarkets go. It's very clean, and the people who work here are nice. It always felt a little out of place, but I can't really tell you why so I won't hold that against Dave's.
