Have been going to them for a few months, however recently my husband brought in three dress shirts to be cleaned and two (the other was black) came back with rust coloured stains all over the collar and cuffs.
We didn't notice until he was dressing up for an evening event a couple of days later and so he brought the shirts back the next day. He tried to explain to the older man that works there, but he doesn't speak English so he just took the shirts and indicated to come back for them.
We came back today and both shirts did not come clean. When we asked, the older man just walked away and gave us the "shoo" gesture. I loudly (perhaps rudely?) called out "hello? I need to talk to you about this!" and suddenly the younger man that works there (perhaps his son?) came to the front. After a long discussion he insisted that a) it wasn't their fault b) despite both shirts being stained in the exact same way and clearly in places where the strong presses would have been used, he insisted is was my husband's "self tanner" (my husband is whiter than a ghost) and c) even if they did damage it all they could do is offer a free cleaning.
They were totally rude, totally unprofessional, clearly use old and malfunctioning equipment or methods (I looked at some of their presses and they had the same shade of orange/rust colour on them) and generally were dismissive and unhelpful. Perhaps our shirts were a fluke and a mistake where some solution was splattered after servicing their presses or something, but they made ZERO effort to come to the table with a solution.
Now we are out two good quality dress shirts AND the dry cleaning bill. TOTAL CROOKS.
I will never ever go to them again.
