Went last night with a group of 9... First, here's a review of the booking process: A week a ago, a group of us decided to book a Tuesday night 730 PM, we all went on separately to book & pay on our own. When the last girl went to book it said Full... so we were like darn someone maybe wanted to go alone and saw there was a spot available , "that sucks".. "oh well" type thing... we get there and all 9 of us check in (for a 10 person room) and the lady was like "would it be okay if one of our new hires joins you guys in the room, she wont participate just to observe?" we were like not a problem.. but then I asked if she was the one who took the 10th spot in our room making it "FULL" before our last friend could sign up and she said yes. WHAT? No phone call or anything to any of us asking if that was ok ahead of time.. we just thought a random signed up. and then when I was asking her how that was okay, she was pretty rude back like sarcastically saying sorry and her manager did it. So one of our friends missed out and we had no idea why until we got there & they THEN asked if they could have another person in the room for training.
But any who, about the actual Escape the Room -- we did the Apartment which they say is the hardest one & they're right. Very challenging. But after just doing the Puzzle Room in downtown phoenix with a few of the same girls, we all agree that the Puzzle Room was a better experience. I don't want to give away any hints or anything but the organization of the clues and puzzles weren't as good and it seemed like we didn't get direction on a lot of things... which maybe was their point? But I would go back to do another Puzzle Room over here.
